Certified HFC Practitioners


Our Certified Practitioners have demonstrated a working knowledge of Healing From the Core principles and are able to hold a healing space for others to ground and fill at a deeper level. These practitioners are qualified to lead weekly Healing From the Core meditation circles or teach a one-day introduction class.



 

Gene Miller, M.Div., AHP (Advanced Hellerwork Practitioner)

For nineteen years, Gene has had a private body-therapy practice,
Lehigh Valley Hellerwork and CranioSacral Therapy. He specializes in
personal growth and development and has brought those skills to Healing
From the Core Circles for more than eight years and has co-led advanced workshops with Suzanne. Gene has a B.A. in sociology and a M. Div.
from Lancaster Seminary. He has been a counselor and educator and has
more than thirty-five years of experience using healing modalities to
help people find their next step. He blends sensitive therapeutic
touch with insightful mind-body-spirit therapy. He lives in Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania with his wife Nancy.

Lori Chinitz, PT

Lori is a Healing From the Core Certified Practioner and a physical therapist with over 20 years of experience working with infants, children and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings. She has extensively studied Craniosacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, TAMO movement strategy, as well as various other manual therapies. In addition she is certified in Neurodevelopmental Therapy for pediatrics. Lori presently works in her private practice in Syosset, New York and is the Director/Owner of A Step Ahead Therapy Services, a multidisciplinary agency. Lori combines her unique understanding of the body, mind and energy systems to assist each person in their healing process with a grounded, and supportive presence.

Amelia Mitchell, CMT

Amelia is a massage therapist in private practice in Annapolis, Maryland and a Certified Healing From the Core Presenter. She brings a conscious presence, sensitive, nurturing touch and her loving playful spirit to all her work. Facilitating connection is one of Amelia's strong skills. Whether it is one on one with a client deepening their personal connection between body, mind and spirit; or in a larger group, supporting interpersonal connections, Amelia can dive deeply into this healing work. A powerfully creative spirit, Amelia is a multimedia designer, artist, photographer, knitter and gardener, who recently created the Healing From the Core promotional DVD with Suzanne Scurlock-Durana. She lives in Annapolis with her daughter Sarah, an endless source of joy as well as lessons and learnings. Amelia's studies continue in Cranio-Sacral therapy, Thai massage and other hands-on therapies, supporting her desire to offer many paths to healing.

Kim Falone


Kim Falone has an extensive background in the healing arts. A licensed massage therapist and bodyworker since 1986, she and her husband Vince founded the Center for Relaxation and Healing in Chatham, NJ in 1992. Kim manages and directs this holistic health care center with over 15 professional massage therapists and bodyworkers on staff. Kim Falone is the author of Opening Again: Poems and Parables of Transformation. Poetry readings, workshop offerings and Healing From the Core presentations are an important part of Kim’s work. She is also the mother of 3 school-age children.

Cari Rowan

Cari Greywolf Rowan, MA, LMT, CST specializes in helping people find relief from pain, stress and discomfort. She is a Certified CranioSacral Therapist (techniques level), New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, and Certified Healing from the Core Presenter. She also holds a Master's degree in Counseling with post-graduate training in addictions and trauma recovery, and has 10 years experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings as a Certified Addictions Counselor. With over 25 years experience in alternative and traditional therapies encompassing the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual components of healing and recovery, Cari brings a solid, compassionate and grounded presence to each of her clients. She lives and works in Rockland County New York, 2 minutes from the New Jersey border.

Dale Kressley

Dale Kressley, a certified presenter, has assisted with many Healing From the Core classes. Because of his education and proficiency as a teacher and coach of high school and middle school students, he is well versed in how people develop, learn, and grow. He holds a Master’s Equivalency degree in Education and has trained in Reiki and Polarity. His experiences as a Lt Colonel and a navigator in the Air Force have developed within him the necessary discipline to gain knowledge in a new field. He brings a grounded, loving, gentle, compassionate, supportive, and sound male energy to life and relationships. Dale currently resides in Chester County, PA.

Tamara Blossic, DC. FICPA

Tamara is a compassionate healer who combines many modalities with a working knowledge of Healing From the Core principles. A Chiropractic Physician in private practice since 1990, her goal is to provide optimal care for patients. Her background includes teaching, CranioSacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, nutritional counseling, and prenatal and pediatric care. Her intuitive approach to bodywork integrates physical and emotional aspects of health. Setting up Movement for Well Being, wellness classes at her office, has added another dimension to her practice. This has created a space for individuals to deepen therapeutic presence and create healthy boundaries, which includes a monthly HFC support circle. Tamara lives and works in Delaware.
